Rawalpindi - The Rawalpindi Police and district administration paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces. RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa, Commissioner Engineer Aamir Khattak, CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani, Deputy Commissioner Hasan Waqar Cheema, and senior police officers visited the Martyrs’ Monument of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The officers laid floral wreaths on behalf of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Chief Secretary of Punjab, the Inspector General of Punjab Police, and the Rawalpindi Police. Smartly turned-out contingents of the Pakistan Army and police officers presented a salute at the monument. Police personnel garlanded army officers and soldiers and presented them with sweets in recognition of their outstanding defence of the homeland and their strong response to adversaries. The police band played patriotic tunes, stirring emotions and joy among both police and military personnel. Police officers also met with officers of the Pakistan Air Force and lauded the unmatched performance of the nation’s fighter pilots. The air force officers were also garlanded and offered sweets. RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces have proven the nation’s defence is in strong hands and have stood firm like an iron wall in protecting the country and its people. CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani remarked that the brave sons of the nation have shown the enemy that no evil eye can dare look toward the land of Pakistan. He added that the armed forces have proven their professional excellence in every field, and the nation is proud of them.
The police force and every citizen salute the Pakistan Armed Forces. Rawalpindi Police stand shoulder to shoulder with the military in the current circumstances.
