IMF hints at releasing additional $1.1 billion to Pakistan

Washington- The International Monetary Fund says it could release an extra 1.1 billion dollars to Pakistan in December this year as the country's economic reforms are on track.

This was stated by IMF's Pakistan mission chief Jeffrey Franks in a statement issued after his talks with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Central Bank Governor Ashraf Wathra in Washington. He said there had been very good talks with the Pakistani officials about the economic program.
