LAHORE - Pakistan routed Hong Kong 3-0 in their opening fixture of the ITF Asia 12&U Team Final Competition 2022 that started Nursultan, Kazakhstan on Monday. According to a PTF spokesman, as many as eight teams of the region are taking part in this event. Pakistan is in Group A along with Iran, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Myanmar while India, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan are in Group B. On the opening day, Pakistan beat Hong Kong 3-0. In boys singles, Pakistan’s Abubakar Talha beat Cho Lam Wong 6-1, 6-0 while Hamza Ali Rizwan beat Kyle Wan 6-4, 6-1 in the second singles. The boys doubles saw Abubakar Talha and Omer Jawad outpacing Cho Lam Wang/Yue Hin 6-1, 6-1.
