Forty personnel of the Health Department were issued show cause notices on the charge of negligence in the performance and absence from duty.
Executive Distinct Officer (Health) Dr. Naseer Ahmad Kahloon made surprise visit to DHQ hospital Hafizabad, THQ hospital Pindi Bhattian and different Rural Health Centres and Basic Health Units and found 40 personnel absent from the duty. He has taken serious notice of the negligent attitude of the officials and promptly issued show cause notices why they should not be suspended or terminated from services.
He warned that zero tolerance would be shown towards the negligent and absentee officials.
GIRL DIES UNDER WALL: A young girl in Rasulpur Tarar village was killed when the wall of her dilapidated house fell on her. She was buried under the debris and was removed by the villagers but she succumbed to her injuries. The dead body sent to the morgue for legal formalities.
GIRL ABDUCTED: A young girl was forcibly abducted by two armed accused from Kot Sarwar village. According to police source, Mudassar and Muhammad Ababs raided the village in a car and forcibly bundled Riasat Ali in the vehicle and sped away.
