Facilities can increase exports to $26b: Aptma

MULTAN : APTMA Chairman Ihsan Tanvir claimed that the textile sector could help increase exports to 26 billion dollars per year during next five years if the government continued to facilitate them. Talking to the media here on Saturday, he said continued supply of electricity and gas to the sector would surely help improve the country’s economy and create maximum opportunities of job. He also announced to set up APTMA office in South Punjab. Chairman All Pakistan Bedsheet and Upholster Manufacturers Association Jalaluddin Roomi stressed the govt to pay focus on bedsheets and garments sectors.
