CM, governor agree to collective efforts for masses’ welfare

LAHORE - Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar met Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday at the Governor House.

Both discussed the ongoing development projects for the welfare of the people in Punjab and the current political scenario.

The governor and the chief minister agreed to work together for the development and prosperity of the people of Punjab under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. During the meeting, the governor and the chief minister said that the opposition should have waited for the general election 2023 instead of taking to the roads. 

Say politicians spreading negativity have no future

“Negative politicians have no future,” they said.

The governor said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the PTI was taking steps in the public interest. He said that Naya Pakistan Sehat Card was a historic initiative of the PTI.

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar while talking on the occasion said that the PTI government had given an empowered local body system to Punjab, adding that the new local body system would empower the people at grass-root level. “The Opposition should know that it cannot stop the process of development,” he said. “Pakistan is getting stronger and more stable with each passing day,” he added.
