Kashmiri martyrs paid glowing tributes

LAHORE Various organizations on Wednesday organised seminars to pay glowing tribute to Kasmiri martyrs on Kashmir Martyrs Day. Political and religious leaders and people from different walks of life pledged to continue support the Kashmiri people until their freedom from Indian occupation. The Kashmir Martyrs Day, popularly known as Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir is observed on July 13 every year not only on both sides of the Line of Control but also all over the world. Aalmi Istahkam Aman Council and Tanzeem Azadi Kashmir organised a seminar at a local hotel in connection of the Day. Allama Zubair Ahmad Zaheer, Dr Khalid Madni, Tariq Mahmood, Ghulam Nabi, Aamina Botter and other addressed the gathering. The speakers paid glorious tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs saying the mission of Kashmiri martyrs would continue till the liberation of occupied Jammu Kashmir from Indian. They vowed to continue moral support to their Kashmiri brothers and urged the people of the valley to continue their struggle for the accession of entire Jammu & Kashmir state to Pakistan, the ultimate destination of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. At the same time, the speakers demanded of the international community and United Nations for giving the self determination right to the people of the Kashmir which was already pledged under the UN resolutions. The speakers condemn the Indian acts of violation against the Kashmiri youth which they said now were the flag bearers of the freedom. They rejected all kinds of traded between India and Pakistan until the neighbour country would not fulfilled the Kashmiris demands. Kashmir Action Committee Pakistan also held a meeting at a local hotel in connection of the Day. They paid homage to 22 Kashmiris who were martyred in 1931 to free Kashmir from the brutalities of despotic Dogra rulers. This is worth mentioning here that the tragic day is the milestone in the history of Kashmiri struggle.
