Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised Pakistan’s armed forces for “defeating a much stronger enemy on all fronts,” declaring, “We won the battle of May 10 by 6-0.”
Speaking at the Honahar Scholarship ceremony, she said the national flag flies high and the entire country stands united in pride. “We didn’t just win a war,” she added, “we secured our children’s future.”
Maryam Nawaz urged the youth to reject “blind hate,” reminding them that every step they take should advance the nation.
She also paid tribute to Nawaz Sharif, as well as to the army and air force, for their leadership and sacrifices.
