ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Azam Swati and Shibli Faraz have been released on bail. Judicial magistrate approved their appeal on the surety bond of Rs 200,000.

According to Swati’s counsel, the police had not asked physical remand for Swati after which the magistrate ordered to send him to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.

The lawyer filed petition seeking Swati’s release on bail. After completion of arguments, the magistrate ordered to release the PTI leader.

Yesterday, Islamabad police arrested Swati by lodging an FIR against him.
