LAHORE - The Punjab government on Tuesday lifted a ban on adhoc appointments in the health department to overcome the shortage of medical staff in various health institutions of Punjab.
In this regard, Punjab Chief Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has approved a summary allowing the adhoc recruitments in different hospitals across the province. The summary was jointly moved by the Primary & Secondary Healthcare department and Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education department. Following this decision, recruitment of medical staff including doctors, nurses and other staff would be possible on adhoc basis.
