The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is facing a lot of problems and the prevalent issue is that of terrorism. As we have observed, the insurgents have changed their approach on terrorism. Now they attack in groups and try to capture some building and then go about killing the unarmed innocents in it. The attacks on the Sri Lankan cricket team and the Police Training School Manawan in Lahore show the bold, new strategy of terrorists. They came in groups of nine or ten and jammed the entire system. -UMAIR ASIF, Islamabad, via e-mail, April 1.
