It is sad to see that corruption is so common all over Pakistan that no one is ready to take any serious action against those who are plundering public funds. Frequent corruption has been going on in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) where BISP employees and its agents cooperate with each other in cheating BISP women beneficiaries. The agents always find the right time to rush to the Benazir Debt Card (BDC) centers and BISP Tahseel offices whenever quarterly installments are released. Half of the amount from the BDC’s goes in wrong hands. Mostly women from rural areas do not know how to use the BDC. Their lack of education means anyone can cheat them only lack of education. I appeal to NAB and the anti-corruption department to take notice of this issue and take action against those people who are doing corruption in BISP.
