LAHORE - Commissioner Lahore Division Khusro Pervaiz has ordered District Coordination Officer Ahad Cheema to prepare a master plan for the renovation of Minar-e-Pakistan and development of its surrounding areas in order to make it attractive for visitors. He issued such directions during a meeting with DCO in his office on Friday. He said that master plan must be prepared within a week so that development work could be commenced immediately to create a beautiful impression on the people entering the City. He said Minar-e-Pakistan would be renovated, made attractive and eye-catching because it is situated at the entrance of the City and sight inspires the visitors. He said that number of visitors would be increased after its renovation and for more attraction of the visitors, literature regarding Tehreek-e-Pakistan and History would also be provided at the site for the information and awareness of the next generation.
