| Imran Khan, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa discuss ‘baseless allegations by Indian army chief against Pakistan | DG ISI Lt Gen Nadeem Ahmed Anjum briefs PM about issues concerning regional security
ISLAMABAD - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PM Office on Friday.
Official sources confirmed that Army Chief Gen Qamar Bajwa held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed issues related to national and regional security. The recent baseless allegations and threats by the Indian Army Chief against Pakistan also came under discussion. Sources said both agreed that defence of Pakistan is strong and the country has every right to defend its territory against any eventuality at eastern borders and Pakistan cannot be intimidated by such brags.
The security situation along with western borders and Afghanistan also came under discussion.
Later, DG ISI Lt Gen Nadeem Ahmed Anjum also joined the meeting and briefed the PM about the latest issues concerning regional security.
