Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 22 outlaws from various areas of the city, besides recovering narcotics, 11 wine bottles, weapons and stolen valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, Shahzad Town police arrested two accused Alamgheer and Muhammad Adnan and recovered snatched mobile phone from their possession.

Secretariat police arrested 3 accused Mukhtar Ahmed, Habib-ur-Rehman and Touseef Ahmed and recovered stolen valuable from their possession. Aabpara police arrested bootlegger Memraz and recovered one wine bottle from him. Ramana police arrested a bootleggers namely Irshad and recovered 10 wine bottles from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested five accused namely Jawad Ali, Addil Ali, Umer Zaman, and Fahad and recovered three 30-bore illicit pistols along with ammunition from their possession.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.

Furthermore police teams arrested 10 professional alms-seekers from various areas of the city. SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
