London - Victoria Beckham was moved to tears as she attended the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition in tribute to the late designer at London's V&A.
The 40-year-old wore a custom-made black strapless gown from her own collection as she arrived with husband David Beckham, looking dapper in a black and navy tuxedo.
The exhibition celebrates the creative talent of the London-born designer with a showcase of his visionary designs. It is the first and largest retrospective of McQueen's work in Europe, spanning from his 1992 MA graduate collection to his unfinished A/W 2010 collection. McQueen died in February 2010 at the age of 40. Victoria described the exhibition as ‘wonderfully inspiring’ on Twitter, and praised her own designers for her hand made gown. Moreover, the former Spice Girl gave her bust a boost in the stunning gown as she stepped out for the event at the Victoria & Albert museum with her husband David Beckham. Victoria was back to her Posh Spice best as she pouted for the cameras, revealing her sunkissed tan. Going heavy on the eye make-up, Victoria’s dark eye-shadow appeared to bleed into her full eyebrows. The dark-haired star kept the rest of the look fairly neutral with a nude lipstick and she went easy on the blusher too. Victoria, who wore a black gown with cut out panels in the full skirt, arrived hand-in-hand with former footballer David, who chose a black tuxedo and bow tie for the occasion.
