KHYBER    -   Assistant Commissioner (AC) Landi Kotal paid a visit to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Landi Kotal and reviewed the arrangements set up for the treatment of dengue patients. 

As per information provided by Niamat Afridi, a spokesperson for Malaria and Dengue, so far 121 patients have recovered while 90 are active and one has died out of the 211 detected dengue-positive cases in Landi Kotal. 

The Sub-Divisional Administrative Officer, Irshad Mohmand inspected OPD, Laboratory, Wards specialized for dengue patients, X-ray machines and other facilities for the ailing segments of the society. 

Speaking on the occasion, he called upon the health officials to facilitate the visiting patients and provide every possible ease to them. 

“No negligence will be tolerated in curing dengue and general patients and urged to adopt all necessary initiatives to ensure hundred per cent presence of health staff on their duties,” he added.
