Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Saturday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation with Bangladesh in political, economic, and cultural spheres.
He made these remarks during a meeting with Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Mohammad Iqbal Hussain Khan, where the two sides reviewed bilateral relations, the regional situation, and prospects for media collaboration.
Attaullah Tarar expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of relations, noting that Pakistan attached great importance to its ties with Bangladesh. He said high-level visits and cultural exchanges had given a new dimension to bilateral relations.
Highlighting the role of media, the minister stressed that cooperation in film, drama, and digital platforms would strengthen people-to-people contact and foster a constructive regional narrative.
Bangladesh’s envoy reaffirmed his country’s desire to deepen relations, emphasizing that the historic bonds of friendship between the two nations would always endure.
Both sides agreed to sustain the momentum of positive progress in Pakistan-Bangladesh relations.
