Pakistani girls win medals at 8th Heroes Taekwondo Open in Thailand

LAHORE  -  Pakistan’s young taekwondo athletes made the nation proud at the 8th Heroes Taekwondo Open International Championship 2025 in Pattaya City, Thailand, where over 4,000 athletes from 32 countries competed across cadets, juniors, seniors, and masters categories.

Shanzey Abbas delivered a standout performance, clinching a silver medal in Kyorugi and a bronze medal in Poomsae. Meanwhile, Hoorain Fatima and Yashfa Fatima each secured bronze medals, highlighting Pakistan’s growing presence in the international taekwondo arena.

Competing against top talent from across the globe, the Pakistani athletes displayed exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Their achievements mark a significant milestone, proving they can hold their own against the best in the world.
