LAHORE - Police had an easy sailing against hapless NWFP and so did Balochistan over Islamabad but Railways had to work hard for win against Punjab in the Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Gold Cup Women's Hockey Tournament matches here at the National Hockey Stadium on Sunday. In the opening match of day six, Balochistan unleashed a goal riot against Islamabad and led the first half by four goals. In the second match Police made NWFP redundant by 3-0 difference while the half time score was 2-0 and in the last match of the day, Railways after having one goal lead at the breather conceded one but got another in the second half to move top of the table with 15 points leaving the remaining teams far behind to disturb it on the top. State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Mehreen Anwar Raja was the chief guest of the last match. Another three matches will be played on Monday. Balochistan will take on Sindh 11am, Punjab meet Police 1pm, Railways face Islamabad 3pm.
