The operation started against encroachments in the city by Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has been halted due to political pressure.It is important to mention here that after launching of operation against encroachments in the city, a group has started propaganda against Administrator Rawal Town, Chaudhary Arshad Warriach and he was later transferred. After the transfer of Administration Rawal Town, the encroachers again active in the city and areas included, Raja Bazaar, Tipu Road, Narnakari Bazaar, Iqbal Road, Banni Chowk, Liaqat Road and City Saddar Road again in grip of encroachments. The public and social circles of the city have demanded an effective drive against encroachments without any political pressure.
