LAHORE – The institute’s Patron Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa was the chief guest at the convocation of Ali Institute of Education. He was welcomed by the chairman, board of governors Syed Babar Ali, the Rector and staff. The Rector, Shahid Majeed, in his welcome note briefed the Patron and other guests about the history, development, achievements as well as ambitious and efforts of the Institute, says a press release. The Hamadan bin Rashid-al-Maktoom Award of 2010, sponsored by Abu Dhabi and managed by UNESCO, for excellence in teacher-training was bestowed upon the AIE, in reorganization of its outstanding performance in the field of teacher-education in the country.
