A grand rally was organized under the leadership of Commissioner Karachi Syed Hasan Naqvi on the occasion of Youm-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving Day). The rally commenced from the Commissioner’s Office and proceeded along Club Road before returning to its starting point.
Prominent attendees included Additional Commissioner Ghulam Mehdi Shah, PD Ghaus Bakhsh Abbasi, AC Arttu Asad Khoso, DDO Abdul Nabi, PD Naseem Bhutto, Sajjad Abro, Director Sports Ghulam Muhammad Khan, PSO Ahmar Pasha, along with Ali Gohar, Yousuf Khan, Abdul Qayyum, several other officers, Commissioner Office staff, and police personnel.
During the rally, participants chanted patriotic slogans such as “Nara-e-Takbeer,” “Nara-e-Haidari,” “Long live Pakistan,” and “Long live Pakistan Armed Forces.”
Addressing the rally, Commissioner Karachi reaffirmed the nation’s unwavering commitment to the country’s safety and sovereignty, stating that the people of Pakistan are ready to make every sacrifice for its defense. He extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistan Armed Forces on behalf of Karachi's citizens for delivering a resounding and humiliating defeat to a deceitful and cunning enemy. On this occasion, Ghulam Muhammad Khan led prayers for the martyrs.
Meanwhile, a blessed session of Quran recitation was held at a mosque under the supervision of the Commissioner Karachi, followed by special prayers for Pakistan and its Armed Forces. Additionally, food and sweets were distributed among the underprivileged, with DDO Abdul Nabi Bhutto leading the concluding prayers.
