LAHORE - The All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran (APAJ) have demanded the government withdraw a notification issued by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board to ban publication of textbooks without official approval. In a statement, President of Urdu Bazaar Khalid Pervaiz said the decision would land the law abiding publishers in trouble. He said the curriculum body had no mechanism to check the published material on medical science, philosophy, Psychology, Match and religion, and hence the mandatory approval from it was meaningless.
