ISLAMABAD    -   Pakistan People’s Party yester­day said that the politics of abuses and hatred must end. Secretary General of Pakistan People’s Party Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said people should salute all democratic forces of the world and Pakistan and those who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of democracy. “Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and the martyrs of democracy sac­rificed their lives for the sake of democracy,” Bukhari said in a state­ment. He said that existing democ­racy and voice of people was the result of struggle and sacrifices of the leaders of the PPP and martyrs of democracy for sake of democ­racy. “Remember the sacrifices of those who suffered the tortures of the royal fort, the punishment of death, and imprisonment,” he add­ed. Bukhari said that PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had declared people as the source of power.
