ISLAMABAD    -   Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar says the government is making all out efforts to recover the miss­ing persons. He was chairing a meeting of the cabinet com­mittee on enforced disappear­ances and missing persons in Islamabad on Thursday.Speaking on the occasion, In­terior Minister Rana Sanaul­lah Khan said the government understands the pain and grief of families of missing persons and making sincere efforts to this effect. Minister for Pov­erty Alleviation Shazia Mar­ri and Human Rights activist Sammi Baloch said the com­mittee is a ray of hope for the families of missing persons. Sammi Baloch said it was due to the confidence reposed by families of the missing per­sons in the committee’s ef­forts that they called off their sit-in in Quetta. Family mem­bers of missing persons in­cluding journalist Mudasir Naro, Dr. Din Muhammad Ba­loch and others were invited to attend the meeting to as­certain the cause and nature of these cases.
