ANF, police seize 14 kg of drugs

WAZIRABAD - The Anti-Narcotics Force and the Saddar Police carried out a joint raid for the arrest of notorious drug-pushers and arrested four persons. The police also and recovered a huge quantity of heroin, opium, charas, illegal arms and sale money from their possession from the graveyard of Thatti Iraian here the other day. According to detail, on a tip-off, the ANF and Saddar Police SHO Rana Aftab along with a heavy contingent conducted a raid at graveyard area of Thatti Iraian where drug-dealer namely Fateh Ali alias Goga was busy in selling drugs. Meanwhile, Goga tried to resist the raiding party but surrendered after strict police warning. The police arrested him and recovered 2-kg of opium, 2-kg of heroin, 8-kg of charas, one pistol and sale money amounting to Rs0.2 million from his possession. Later, the raiding party also arrested three other drug-pushers namely Mobeen Ahmad, a resident of Gali Shishianwali, Abid Hussain, a resident of Mohallah Raheempura and Mohammad Saif and recovered 1.1-kg, 1-kg, and 110 grams charas from their possession respectively.
