At least 20 people, including 11 children and four women, lost their lives in Balochistan as heavy monsoon rains battered the province, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported.
The report confirmed that eight others, including two women, were injured, while 82 houses were damaged 13 completely and 69 partially.
It added that 357 solar systems were destroyed, and three government offices along with a school building were also affected during the spell.
With these fatalities, Pakistan’s nationwide death toll from torrential rains has climbed past 400, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa alone accounting for more than 300 casualties.
