Pakistan Army’s Urban Search and Rescue Team has launched relief and rehabilitation operations in flood-affected areas of Buner, Shangla, and Swat, the military said on Sunday.

The specialized team is working to locate injured individuals and recover bodies trapped under debris using advanced equipment. Meanwhile, Corps of Engineers personnel have begun repairing damaged bridges and clearing blocked roads to restore connectivity.

Despite adverse weather conditions, Army helicopters are also carrying out rescue missions, airlifting stranded people and delivering emergency supplies to inaccessible areas.

The Army said its personnel remain fully mobilized to support civil administration in ongoing rescue and relief efforts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
