10 suffer burnt injuries as oil tanker catches fire at Super Highway Karachi

KARACHI: An oil tanker caught fire at Super Highway resulting in burnt injuries to ten people here on Saturday (today).

The oil tanker caught fire at Super Highway Nooriabad of Karachi, in result of which 10 people have suffered burnt injuries.

According to police, 7 out of those 10 people rushed themselves to nearby hospital for treatment. The oil tanker contained 44,000 litres of petrol and caught fire after vehicle's brake system failed.

Edhi sources stated that the injured were sent to Karachi. The flames engulfed four vehicles, including one police mobile as well.
