SARGODHA - Several ceremonies including seminars, debates and rallies were held to commemorate the martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar at different educational institutes including Govt Postgraduate College for Women Chandni Chowk, Girls Degree College Farooq Colony, Girls College Block-23 and other boys and girls schools. However, main ceremony in this regard was held at Government Ambala Muslim College here on Monday.

EDO F&P Irfan Sindhu, Principal Tahir Raheem, Prof Haroonur Rasheed Tabasam, Rana Mohammad Saleem, Malik Gulzar Awan, Director Public Information Sharafat Hussain and others paid homage to the martyrs of APS Peshawar tragedy. The speakers said that the cowardly enemy had written the history of barbarianism which was condemnable but the nation’s courage was as high as Himalaya Mountains. They said that the entire nation would not forget the martyrdom of innocent children. They emphasized that as nation “we should not surrender to the anti-state and anti-nation elements and we all stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies to push the terrorists into the ravine of hell.”

Later a large rally was taken out from Govt AM College in which people from all walks of life participated in great numbers to commemorate the martyrs of APS Peshawar tragedy.
