PESHAWAR - Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nasirul Mulk underwent angiography at Rehman Medical Institute here Monday after he suffered cardiac pain.

The CJP was admitted to the hospital where his angiography was conducted. The hospital doctors termed his condition as stable, and said they are satisfied with the angiography results. The CJP is said to be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday (today) morning.

Justice Nasirul Mulk arrived here on Sunday for hearing cases at the Supreme of Court’s Peshawar Registry. On Tuesday (today), the CJP is expected to administer oath to Justice Maqbool Baqir who has been elevated to the Supreme Court from the Sindh High Court.
