LAHORE – The Ghazali Education Trust (GET) has decided to launch ‘Bright Future Campaign’ to provide possible educational facilities to the deprived students in rural areas of the country.

While addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Monday, GET Director Waqas Jafri said that the aim of the campaign was to make possible availability of educational facilities to those down-trodden and deprived students.

He said there were more than 4.2 million orphan children deprived of their basic right of education in Pakistan. Some reports said that 70 million children have no access to basic primary education in Pakistan, said Jafri, adding that keeping in mind the educational situation in the rural areas, they would take sponsorships for the education of more than  25,000 orphan and deserving students under ‘Bright Future Campaign’ campaign.

He further said thousands of students will be brought into national educational stream by providing them not only free education but they will also be provided free books, stationery, uniform, bags. He said that talented students will be granted scholarships to encourage them to excel.
