LAHORE – Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has urged Pakistanis to choose honest, sincere and hard working leaders who can help the country make rapid progress and weed out all the problems being faced by the poor.

In a recorded message at the Star Award Show, which was held under the auspices of ‘This Month This Week’ at the Alhamra Arts Council, Dr Qadeer said after becoming the nuclear power, our next goal was to make rapid progress in the field of education for making our country prosperous and developed, but unfortunately this did not happen.

Dr Qadeer urged the nation to choose sincere, honest and hard working leaders who may root out all the major problems that are being faced by the Pakistani nation. It is pertinent to mention here that Mian Usman organised the Star Award Show at Alhamra Arts Council in which a recorded speech of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was aired.

The event was also graced by Parliamentary Secretary and MPA Rana Arshad, DM Digital Chief Executive Dr Liaquat Malik and Maryam Mamdot as chief guests. Renowned actress Rubi Anum and Shakeel Zahid acted as stage secretaries of the event.
