LAHORE – The NESPAK has secured 108 new large engineering projects at home and abroad during the last one year.85 new projects secured in Pakistan include Remodelling of Warsak Canal System; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Road Rehabilitation Project; Bus Rapid Transport System, Lahore; 840MW Suki Kirani Hydropower Project; 200-bed Mukhtar Sheikh Memorial Hospital, Multan; Flood Damaged Roads in the Punjab and Health Facilities in FATA and Swat Valley.The 23 new foreign projects recently secured by NESPAK include power projects and water storage dams in Saudi Arabia; highways, sewerage and water distribution projects in Oman; new hostel blocks and several villas in Qatar; improvement of fishing port in Yemen; an irrigation and seismic study project in Afghanistan and two projects in Comoros Island.To meet the requirements of its expanding foreign business, NESPAK has also opened three new offices in Dammam Saudi Arabia; State of Qatar and the USA. Its offices also exist in Oman, Iran and Afghanistan.Meanwhile NESPAK is busy in the execution of 45 ongoing projects in nine foreign countries which are in different stages of completion. These include fourteen projects in Oman; four projects in Qatar, five projects in Afghanistan, one in Ethiopia, one in Yemen, one in Bangladesh, two in Iran and seventeen in Saudi Arabia.
