A Pakistani citizen Zain Ali, 28, was injured seriously during the indiscriminate firing of Indian Security Forces at Sialkot villages in Akhnoor Sector of Sialkot Working Boundary on Wednesday.
According to the senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the Indian Security Forces started firing at Akhnoor Sector at 11:00 am, which remained continued for about 20 minutes. Indian Security Forces fired several mortar shells and targeted Pakistani farmers who were busy in cultivation of paddy yields in their fields during the light rainy and dark cloudy weather. Ali was hit baldy by a mortar shell fired by the Indian Security Forces. He was shifted to Combined Military Hospital where his condition was stated to be critical, the senior officials of the Chenab Rangers added.
The officials narrated that the Chenab Rangers retaliated and responded instantly and affectively in befitting manners, making the Indian army’s guns silent. This unprovoked Indian shelling, however, created harassment and panic in the Sialkot border villages.

Daska police declared five accused including Bashiran Bibi (mother of the slain girl), Ghulam Rasul (grandfather) and Shamshad and Iqbal Hassan (uncles) in this case. ATC already sent all the accused to Sialkot District Jail on judicial remand.
According to the FIR, Sajjad Ahmed, 27, had love married Daska based Mafia Bibi, 23, on June 18, 2014. After a week of their marriage, they were living in their home at village Hassanabad-Sialkot, when the accused and two unknown armed men kidnapped them and took them to their outhouse in village Satrah-Daska.
