ISLAMABAD - Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, Director General China, Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now on the Advisory Board of the China Pakistan Study Centre.

Dr. Talat Shabbir, Director CPSC, welcomed the prominent diplomat in the Centre. He said the CPSC was honoured to have Muhammad Mudassir Tipu on the Advisory Board and the Center will benefit from his experience.

Former Foreign Secretary Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry is the Director General of the Centre while other members include  Pang Chunxue, DCM, PRC Embassy, Mohammad Muddasir Tippu, DG China, MOFA, Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi, Former Ambassador to China, Ambassador Masood Khalid, Former Ambassador to China, Dr. Ayesha Sohail, Registrar, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir – Muzaffarabad, Ziad Alahdad, Consultant Advisor & Former Director of Operations, World Bank, Professsor Dr. Attaullah Shah, VC Karakoram International University Gilgit- Baltistan, Dr. Aliya H Khan, Economist, Lt Gen (Retd). Recently Muhammad Mudassir Tipu termed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as a truly transformational project, the real dividends of which would only be realised in the long term. He predicted that with the increase in the power generation capacity, power outages in the country had already decreased substantially.

Muhammad Mudassir Tipu is widely respected as a seasoned diplomat, with a grip on China and international affairs. He has served in China In senior capacity for Pakistan.
