Boy, man found dead near Larkana

LARKANA - A boy and a man were found dead near Larkana on Saturday. According to police, a 13-year-old boy, Ali Gul, son of Amanullah Rahujo, was found dead from Khair Bux Mari Road village within the limits of Mahotta police station.  Police shifted his body to Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for a postmortem. His uncle Naimatullah said that his nephew went mysteriously missing since previous evening and on Saturday his body had been found. Heirs of Ali Gul later blocked Larkana-Sukkur Highway near Hassan Wahan and burnt tyres, causing traffic jam. Nemat Rahujo, Hubdar, Riaz, Gulsher, Shahmir, Bashir Rahujo and others shouted slogans against police failure to recover the boy. They said if the police had taken timely action, their loved one would not have been killed. DSP Shahjahan Shah and SHO Shahid Memon of Naundero police station reached the spot and started threatening the protesters for calling off the protest but they flatly refused and ignored them.  After four hours, notables of Rahuja community persuaded them and the protest was called off on the assurance that FIR will be registered and the accused will be arrested. Meanwhile, SSP Larkana Sarfraz Nawaz Shaikh constituted a probing team consisting of Inspector Agha Shakil Pathan, SIP Nadir Saryo and SIP Shahid Memon to investigate the case and arrest the accused. In another incident, Areeja Phero police found an the body of an unidentified man from Hameer Wah and shifted it to CMCH for fulfilling legal formalities. Police said that the body of a 32-year-old man was found from Hamir Wah near Bhooro Kalhoro village and his heirs are being found.

It must be remembered here that since past several days dead bodies are constantly being found from the limits of various police stations of Larkana district but even then no notice has yet been taken by higher police authorities to inquire the reasons behind such acts.
