LAHORE  - Deputy Speaker Sardar Dost Mohammad Mazari called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence here on Wednesday. 

They evolved strategy about the current budget session for smooth running of the Assembly proceedings.   Secretary Punjab Assembly Mohammad Khan Bhatti was also present. 

The Deputy Speaker felicitated Ch Parvez Elahi on displaying Quranic verses and Hadith about Khatam-e-Nabuwat in the new building of the Punjab Assembly. 

Thanking the religious and political parties of the country, parliamentarians, provincial ministers and the people, Ch Parvez Elahi said: “I am grateful for appreciating the process of displaying Quranic verses and Hadith relating to Khatam-e-Nabuwat in the new building of Punjab Assembly which has the honour of not only being the biggest parliamentary building of Asia but also being the first building in which verses and Hadith relating to Khatam-e-Nubuwwat have been displayed”.   He said that the new building reflected elucidation of Islamic Ideology and Ideology of Pakistan. “This is a historic achievement. This process will help in further highlighting Islamic ideas of Pakistan”, he added. 

Meanwhile, Qari Haneef Jullundhry of Ittehad Tanzeemaat-e-Madaris Deenia, Mufti Munibur Rehman, Ameer Markazia Majlis-e-Ehrar-e-Islam Pakistan Syed Muhammad Kafeel Shah Bokhari, Chief of Mutahedda Ulema Board Punjab and of Federal Inter-Faith Harmony Allama Tahir Ashrafi, Allama Ehtesham Elahi Zaheer and others have appreciated this step of Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi. They said that Ch Parvez Elahi had won hearts of all Muslims.
