MUZAFFARABAD - Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N AJK and former member of the AJK Council, Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi, has lauded Pakistan’s effective handling of the recent ceasefire with India, describing it as a “strategic and dignified response combining military excellence with diplomatic vision.”
In a statement to media, Sardar Wasi commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for their timely and well-coordinated actions in response to India’s Operation Sindoor. He emphasized that Pakistan’s defence forces upheld national honour with great professionalism while avoiding unnecessary escalation.
He also praised the diplomatic leadership, particularly Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, for engaging global partners to project Pakistan’s principled stance. “Our approach was balanced—strong on the ground and clear in communication with the world,” Wasi noted.
Sardar Wasi acknowledged the role of international diplomacy in reducing tensions, especially the intervention of US President Donald Trump, whose administration encouraged de-escalation and acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to avoid conflict. “President Trump’s timely engagement reflected international recognition of Pakistan’s mature and measured policy,” he said.
Reaffirming his confidence in Pakistan’s leadership, Sardar Wasi added, “This ceasefire proves that Pakistan stands as a responsible nuclear state—ready for peace, firm in defense, and wise in diplomacy.”
He concluded with a call for unity: “The entire nation should stand behind our armed forces and leadership. This is a moment of pride for every Pakistani and Kashmiri.”
