ISLAMABAD  -  Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday lauded the people and the Armed Forces for their unmatched courage during the conflict with India.

The PPP leader extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan and the Armed Forces on the resounding success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos. “Today is a day to pay rich tribute to the unmatched courage and valour of our brave soldiers,” the PPP chairman remarked.

He declared the day as one of national reaffirmation — a solemn vow that whenever the sovereignty and survival of our beloved homeland are threatened, the people of Pakistan will stand united, unwavering, and resolute.

“The success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos has shattered the illusion of India’s artificial military supremacy in the region,” Bilawal said.

He emphasized that today, “It has been proven beyond doubt: from the skies above to the depths of the seas, from the towering mountains to the sprawling plains, Pakistan commands strength and superiority. India’s cowardly aggression has met with utter failure and has brought disgrace to the Indian government on the global stage.”

Reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to peace, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warned that those who seek confrontation will be met with a decisive and formidable response.

Touching upon regional matters, he expressed strong condemnation of India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it unacceptable.

“We shall defend every drop of our rightful share of water, any attack on our water rights is an attack on our sovereignty,” he asserted.
