Now that the NWFP has been renamed Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwah by the Parliament, we should all accept the democratic verdict. Nobody can, even for a moment, imagine that our legislators would do anything against the ideology or integrity of Pakistan. Having said that, I concede that there are a few who cannot swear by the loyalty for Pakistan of these people called the Khudai Khitmargars, the Red-Shirts of the defunct NAP, the predecessor of the ANP. It would, therefore, be in the fitness of the things that the ANP top leadership should visit enbloc the mausoleum of Father of the Nation to pay their collective homage and allegiance to him. Somehow they have not done that so far in the last 62 years. If they do that, it would dispel all doubts about their patriotism.
