The death toll in the flood-affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 325, while 156 others have been injured in various rain and flood-related incidents, according to the latest report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
Continuous downpours in Peshawar have caused severe water accumulation in several areas, disrupting daily life and increasing the risk of further accidents.
Rescue 1122 has urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel to affected areas and to immediately contact the emergency helpline in case of urgent needs.
Authorities said rescue and relief operations are continuing across the province as the monsoon spell persists.
