NANKANA SAHIB - Skyrocketing price hike, rising unemployment and the prevailing law and order situation are the root causes of terrorism in the country. This was stated by Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran District president, Vice President Ch Arif Rustom, Sh Ali Rizwan and other officer-bearers while addressing a press conference here the other day. They suggested that all political parties should work together, above their parties and personal interest, to resolve the problem being faced by the Pakistan both at internal and external fronts. The prevailing worst economic and energy rises, political instability, rampant corruption and rising terrorism require unity and cohesion among the rank and file of the entire nation including the political parties to steer the country out of all these crises, they elaborated. They demanded Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif to take appropriate measures and chalk a comprehensive strategy to resolve the problem like shortage of doctors in the hospitals, construction of the district jail, shortage of teaching staff in Govt colleges, commencement of BSc classes, end to prolonged power outage, construction of play grounds and eradication of corruption from government departments. They also demanded head-on measures to change the traditional Thana Culture to ensure justice to the poor people. FIRE BURNS SHOP: A fire erupted at a shop reduced to ashes material worth hundred of thousands of rupees. As per detail, a fire erupted at Madina framing and book-binding shop situated at Al-Noor Plaza near Bari Chowk. The fire engulfed the shop, burning precious material worth hundreds of thousands of rupees to aches. The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit. Meanwhile, the fire-fighter of Rescue 1122 reached the spot and put off the fire timely, preventing the fire from spread and saving others shops in the plaza.Senior Administrator Ch Riasat Ali, TMO officer Ch Akram Gujjar, Anjuman-e-Tajran Vice President Khan Baber Khan, Akmal alias Bola and Sh Rizwan Ali supervised the rescue activities.
