ELLAH ABAD - A 30-year-old man who was bitten by a snake died of incomplete treatment at the RHC Ellah Abad the other day. Muhammad Rafiq, a resident of Ellah Abad Ward No-3, father of six children, was brought to the hospital as he was bitten by a snake. The doctors told Rafiqs brother that anti-snake vaccine was not available at hospital and the poor family could not afford to purchase the vaccine from the market. Meanwhile, condition of Rafiq went worst from bad due to the absence of proper treatment and finally breathed his last at the hospital. The family of the deceased has vehemently protested against the negligence of the hospital management and demanded a stern action against the responsible persons. They also demanded the Health Department to ensure supply of anti-snake bite vaccine in the hospital at Ellah Abad.
