STOCKHOLM (AFP) - Swedish media on Sunday celebrated the country's third place in the women's World Cup, secured after beating France 2-1, and hinted at a medal in next summer's Olympic Games in London. The country's leading daily Dagens Nyheter praised "the golden goal that gave Sweden the World Cup bronze," with a large picture of players celebrating substitute midfielder Marie Hammarstrom's superb strike in the 82nd minute that won Sweden the bronze medal. Its competitor Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) ran a close-up of the same shot over the headline "Bronze jubilation". "It was a classic Swedish football goal," SvD sport columnist Ola Billger wrote.
