LAKKI MARWAT – A man was killed in the far-flung Shamoni Khattak village for his son’s illicit relations with a woman belonging to the family of the accused of killing, police said on Tuesday.
One Qasim Jan lodged an FIR with Dadiwala Police, stating that he along with his father Sadullah Jan and mother Nazeera Bibi was going to fields when the accused including Sadullah and Umar Farooq suddenly appeared and attacked them. He said the said attackers opened fire on them, as a result his father sustained bullet injuries and fell on the ground. “I and my mother narrowly escaped and we ran towards our house.”
He said that the attackers continued firing on their house and then they made their good escape.
He maintained that his father succumbed to injuries when he reached the place where he was lying.
He further told police that his brother Jan Alam’s illicit relations with a woman belonging to the family of the accused was reason of the firing attack.
Police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
