OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Provincial Minister for Education Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has said that Punjab government is following the policy of relying on its own resources and non-developmental expenditure had been curtailed by Rs.six billion this year. He was addressing a seminar on School Health Programme arranged by UNESCO and National Commission for Human Development at a local hotel, here on Tuesday. Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman said that time has come to get rid of foreign aid and develop indigenous resources. He said that foreign aid should not be accepted at the expense of national sovereignty and honour. He said that Punjab government led by Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is determined to root out poverty and ignorance and it has allocated maximum resources for this purpose.
