GUJRANWALA - With the mutual cooperation of Daewoo and Hyundai an agreement has been signed to provide $45 million Korean loan to GEPCO, says a press release. With the help of Korean loan seven new grid stations will be built in GEPCO. In this connection a grand ceremony was held in GEPCO Headquarter to sign loan documents, in which on behalf of consortium, senior vice president of Daewoo Byeong Eal Jeon and Chief Executive Officer & President of Hyundai Engineering Dong Wook Kim, while on behalf of GEPCO Chief Executive Muhammad Ibraheem Majoka signed the loan documents. Chairman BoD Hassan Javed, GM Operation Sheikh M Ilyas, Chief Engineer Syed Zulfat Shah, Mehboob Alam, Zubair Malik, Additional Chief Auditor Yousaf Sani Mirza, Finance Director M Asad, Managers including representatives of Korean delegation and other GEPCO officers were also present.
