KARACHI - Law enforcing agencies arrested several suspected activists of defunct organisations for their involvement in the attack on Saudi Consulate killing a Saudi diplomat. Sharfudin Memon, the advisor for home affairs Sindh and city police Chief Saud Mirza said it was impossible to rule out the recent dispute between rival sectarian organisations of supporters and non-supporters of Saudi Arabia. Security agencies have raided and arrested several suspects from across the city and took them to the different places for investigation. One Muntazir Imam alias Tunda, resident of Shah Faisal Colony, was picked up from Madian tul Imambargha, Gulshen-e-Iqbal. Police sources said that Tunda had been involved in sectarian killings and was also a suspect in the Saudi Consulate attack. On the other hand, investigators have collected the pictures of culprits involved in the attack on diplomat while it remained unable to make any headway. The investigators have so far been failed to determine the group involved in the attack. They are looking into different aspects of the issue including the reaction to Saudi intervention in Bahrain and the reaction of militant groups to Saudi Arabia denial to take body of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
